Joan of Arc
Feast Day: May 30

Patron Saint of France, The Military, Women's Army Corps, Courage in the Face of Ridicule

. . . . . . . . .

Actual size: 6" x 8" x 1/4" thick or 8" x 10" x 1/4" thick

Signed and dated; wire hanger is attached to the back. The tiles can also be mounted permanently on a wall, as with any ceramic tile. (Let us know if you don't want the wire hanger on the back.)

The symbolic imagery:
Joan is riding out to battle, carrying her self-designed banner. Showing a small smile, she hears only "her voices," from Archangel Michael (hovering in the sky), St. Catherine and St. Margaret (incorporated within the border). Her actual signature is in the corner. Lillies and the fleur de lis are used throughout. Her family's coat of arms (which she earned) is also depicted.
